Lighthouses
A bright light in the dark
Hope to a sailor
A path through the fog
We can all be lighthouses
As we open our hearts
To love
Our light will shine for all to see
You can lighten a heart in despair
Or brighten the way for those that doubt
Be vulnerable
Ignore judgements
Give your gift of light

Why does this image go with this poem?
I have fond memories of this evening, it was the last night of a vacation in Nova Scotia and the evening was shaping up nicely for a momentous sunset. I was enjoying wandering over the rocks and in the tide pools looking for the angles and reflections that would pay dividends later as the sun set …. Then I noticed that a sea fret was rolling in, the atmosphere was cooling and the fret was obscuring everything in it’s path. This was one of the last images I took that evening before reluctantly packing up, My last memory is of picking a careful path through the fog as I sadly headed back to the car very much in need of a "bright light in the dark"
